We’ll transfer you to the hotel and you’ll have some free time. In the afternoon, you’ll find information about the start of your tour on the boards located at the hotel reception.
In the morning, we’ll kick off our day with a panoramic tour, offering a fantastic introduction to the Eternal City. We’ll visit the tiny state of the Vatican, the heart of Christianity, where you´ll have the chance to explore Saint Peter’s Basilica. Tickets are included for the Imperial Forums, an awe-inspiring architectural complex filled with monumental buildings and squares that were once the hub of political life in Imperial Rome.
In the evening, we’ll provide a transfer to Trastevere, perfect for a leisurely stroll through its charming, narrow cobblestone streets. This district is rich in hidden gems, from quaint medieval churches and quirky shops selling unique items to everyday scenes of local life. You’ll find many trattorias (casual eating establishments, typically less formal than a ristorante) and osterias (similar to taverns), each exuding Italian charm and ready to serve you authentic local dishes. Additionally, the area offers a variety of restaurants serving Indian, Chinese, and international cuisine. We’ll return to the hotel at the end of the evening.
Enjoy a full day of free time to continue exploring the city. Today, we recommend an optional excursion to Naples, Capri, and Pompeii.
We´ll journey to Florence, the capital of Tuscany. Upon arrival, we´ll stop at the Michelangelo viewpoint for a photo opportunity, offering one of the most stunning views of the city. Following this, we´ll embark on a sightseeing tour with a local guide of this renowned city, one of Italy´s most visited destinations considered the cradle of the Renaissance and some of the most influential artists and thinkers in history, such as Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, Botticelli, and Raphael. We’ll leave Florence early and head towards northern Italy, crossing the Apennines. In Venice, we’ll take a boat transfer to the city center for a walking tour of the San Marco district, where you’ll see the Basilica and the Campanile. We’ll also visit a Murano Glass Factory to admire traditional glass-working techniques. Accommodation will be in the Mestre area.
After breakfast, we’ll head to Slovenia, a small city of remarkable beauty. Our first stop will be Ljubljana, the charming capital, where you’ll have time for lunch and a leisurely walk through the old town, with its historic buildings, vibrant squares, and scenic canals, all under the watchful eye of the city’s grand castle. In the afternoon, we’ll continue to Maribor, Slovenia’s second-largest city, where you can explore the pleasant old town along the Drava River. As we journey towards Austria, we’ll drive through beautiful mountainous landscapes, arriving in Vienna by the end of the day.
Today, we’ll embark on a panoramic tour of this impressive city with a local guide. We’ll explore its majestic avenues, beautiful palaces, large parks and vibrant city center. In the afternoon, you’ll have free time to explore on your own. In the evening, we’ll include a transfer to the Grinzing district, an old wine-growing village now part of the city, known for its traditional taverns. You’ll have free time to dine in the area.
After breakfast, our journey will come to an end, leaving you with wonderful lasting memories.
